What if I only needed one interface?

I’m building my own personal AI assistant and documenting everything I learn. No dashboards, no forms, no tables... Just one chat-based interface that helps me run my projects and my life.

Who hasn’t dreamed of having their own Jarvis? I know I have.

Of course, if it were easy, we’d all have one by now. But with recent breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, I’m convinced that in the near future, every human will have their own personal AI assistant.

A few years ago, building something like this meant being an expert in machine learning, natural language processing, neural networks, computer vision… the list goes on.

Today? Thanks to open-source models and powerful APIs, anyone with curiosity and persistence can start building, even solo. That’s what I’m doing.

We now have access to so many incredible models, tools, and services that we can combine and orchestrate into something useful. You can self-host them (I probably won’t), or just plug them together with APIs and code.
Over the past few months, I’ve been learning and experimenting with different AI tools. Now I feel ready to pursue that dream.

My goal

I want to create an assistant that grows with me, one that helps with anything I need, professionally or personally.

I imagine a single interface I can interact with by text, voice, or even video.

It won’t be perfect. It won’t do everything from day one. But I’ll keep improving it, one step at a time. Sometimes I’ll refactor, sometimes I’ll start over completely, and that’s okay.

This is the beginning of the journey. Wish me luck.
